Luminoso, located at the top of Dongpirang in Tongyeong, is a special workshop where you can make your own perfume while looking out the window at the ocean. It used to be a cafe, but it recently transformed into a perfume workshop. Since it is located at the top of Dongpirang, I was worried about whether I would be able to find it easily, but thanks to the owner’s kind guidance with photos, I was able to find it without any problems.

This place contains the meaning of expecting a shining encounter in a happy Dongpirang. 'Luminoso' means 'shining' in Italian. There is a rooftop and an attic space, so you can feel various charms in each space. As soon as you enter the space, there is a diffuser made for the Christmas season.

The sweet yet subtle scent of the diffuser filled the space.

They say that all of Luminoso's scents are made and layered directly. Visitors can also make their own perfumes according to their own tastes, as shown below.

The CEO also runs a sea tour as a side job. He obtained his own boat license, and he has a yacht license and even a lifeguard qualification. There is a CEO who is a hobbyist and is sincere about everything!

"Find your own scent and give the gift of memories of your trip to Tongyeong"

When I travel, I usually buy 'perfume' and remember the place with its scent. I wanted to make my own one-of-a-kind perfume through DIY and leave a lasting memory, so I tried a one-day class. I was able to smell the scents that the owner got inspiration from while visiting 8 islands in Tongyeong (Somaemuldo, Daemaemuldo, Yukjido, Hansando, Jeokdo, Jukdo, Bijindo, and Manjido). Each scent completely conveyed the refreshing scent of the Tongyeong sea to my nose. At that time, I looked at the Gangguan sea view through the window. Looking at the wide open Gangguan sea, I could feel the scent of Tongyeong even more. In particular, I didn't realize how much time had passed while talking to the owner throughout the class. While smelling each scent, I was able to hear stories about the 8 islands as well as knowledge about perfume. Thanks to the owner who likes people and has taken on many challenges, I was able to share interesting experiences. After making the perfume, I decided on a name for it and told you. You can attach a sticker with your own perfume name and date to the perfume bottle. After attaching it, you can put it in a pouch if you want.

The paintings displayed throughout the studio are said to be hand-drawn. They are also holding an Instagram event, so you can receive a postcard as a gift after participating. You can also go up to the rooftop and enjoy the view.

As it is located at the top of Dongpirang, the view from the rooftop is even cooler!
